The Voice over

"My whole life was a lie... Raised to believe I was unique, special even. I accepted it for a while, but life has it's own cruel way of showing you the truth... The only thing special about me, was my diagnosis... 3rd degree schizophrenia , chronic psychopathy, and severe agoraphobia began to develop when I was just eleven. They pumped me so full I could hardly walk. Suppressed thoughts crept into my head, eating me away taking control. I grew a passion for hate. Like a demon in the pit of my stomach, trying to break free. After the constant nightmare of screams and laughter tormenting me. The girl's ear splitting shriek was as loud as ever. It sends a tingling chill down my spine, and as it reverberates in my head, I lose a part of myself. Having slow, painful revenge is only a quick fix to others. To you, its everything and everything happens for a reason."

The voiceover will be read out slowly to create a sense of tension and suspense. In the background there are diagetic sounds which include foot steps, door creaks and other sounds. We have included thunder and heavy rain at the beginning as this kind of ambience is generally associated with Horror and mystery. The instrumental in the background is Rihanna's "Russian Roulette". We chose this as our soundtrack as the beginning is eerie and the middle has a heartbeat sound which is constant throughout. We edited it so that the drum roll of the beat dropping comes simultaneously with the footage.
