Quentin Tarantino

Our given Auter was Quentin Tarantino, an American film director, producer, cinematographer and actor. In the early 1990s he was an independent filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines.

His films include Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill (Vol. 1, 2003; Vol. 2, 2004), Death Proof (2007) and Inglorious Basterds (2009).

Tarantino's style has probably been the most imitated and influential of any director of this generation. His work distinctly combines graphic violence with extensive, narrative-like dialogue. His films require audiences to listen closely to exchanges while giving them the luxury to simply sit back and absorb dazzling audio and visual theatrics.
